Commissioned as the Artist of the 2008 Antalya Film Festival. To highlight the atmosphere of the festival I produced three large oil paintings capturing different elements that make up this star studded event.

Party in the Lounge - After a film screening the buzz of people return to the hotel to talk and reflect on the film, I showed this with the reflection time around the returning guests in the floor mirroring and the huge disco balls with lights glistening and reflecting, This is to me highlighting the potential ideas, observations and suggestions floating around in the atmosphere from charged minds.

Pool Party - As the evening gets in to full swing, a party at the pool caches my attention with the westend cast of Chicago performing on stage and open bar it turns in to a great evening. The buzz of the people is represented by the vivid colours of the parties lights, a crowd of people in the thick of things. The space surrounding them highlighting the fact they they are at this moment cut of from society and reality, keep the party going

Stars Arriving - Anticipation before a film is huge, the stars are in the lime light watched by shadows full of adoring fans all looking to catch a glimpse of their favourite actor. The venue also lives up to the hype and is very impressive, a painting in itself.
